Appeals

If a Payment Notice has been issued to you and you consider there is a basis upon which it should be reconsidered, you may apply to have it reviewed under Car Park Compliance Services appeals process.

To begin the appeals process and facilitate a fair and speedy resolution, you can appeal a non-compliance breach notice in writing below.  This can only commence via written correspondence, by completing the below form.  This must be done so within 14 days from the issue date of the Payment Notice. During the appeals process, the notice is placed on hold. We are unable to initiate the appeals process via telephone.

Please ensure all fields are completed in full, including any evidence and copies of your purchased ticket or parking permit.

Remember it is a criminal offence to provide a false declaration.  Where we have evidence that indicates the content of a statutory declaration is untrue, it is company policy to refer the matter to police for investigation and prosecution.

What happens next and how long does it take?

The appeals process considers the Appeal and may:

    • Request further information or make further inquiries
    • waive the Payment Notice or
    • Confirm that the Payment Notice stands.

You will be notified in writing of the decision of the appeals process.

Most appeals are finalised within 14 days, although some may take longer, particularly where further information is required.  However, no legal action will be instituted until the Application is determined and you are notified of the outcome.  If you decide to pay the Notice before the appeal is decided, no refund will be made, regardless of the result of your appeal.

What if my appeal is unsuccessful?

If the Payment Notice stands after the appeals process has considered your appeal, you have two options:

    1.    Pay the Payment Notice and the matter is settled; or
    2.    Await service of legal proceedings and defend those proceedings in Court.
